Losing my brother to suicide as a teenager profoundly shaped the course of my life. The stigma surrounding mental health left my family feeling isolated, burdened by shame, and unable to share our vulnerabilities.

As I grew older, I faced a pivotal choice: let the weight of my brother’s passing consume me, or rise above the pain and become someone who openly and honestly advocates for mental health. I chose to learn from the trauma, using it as fuel to create change.

I knew I wanted to work in an industry where I could channel my lived experience and personality to support others in meaningful ways. My goal has always been to be present for people, offering them the understanding and care they truly need.

Being there for my local community is something I take great pride in. It brings me peace to know I am contributing to the change I want to see in the world.
